History:
This beautiful house date from the 17th century and is kept in the original style. All elements
are in full harmony with architectorial tradition of this area. The combination of stone
and woodwork ventilate the rustic, classical character and the timelessness. African and
arabic influences are shown in the presence of sculptures and other decorations.
Situation:
The hotel is situated in La Lechuza, on 3 kilometers distance from "La Vega de San Mateo",
in the direction to Tegeda, in the middle of the national park "Las Cumbres".
A fantastic area, where you can enjoy nature in plenty. The hotel is simply to reach out
of Las Palmas, the capital (21 kilometers).
Hotel and rooms:
There are only 9 rooms (junior suites, suites and rooms). Each room has its own exclusive
character, is confortabel and equipped with small details and antique furnitures of the
island. Each day you can use the large breakfast buffet with home made marmelades, freshly
baked breads, fresh fruit juices and other local products. For sure worth it to get out of
your bed!
Facilities:
Salon-bar, library, conference room, sun terrace, gardens, herbal- and fruitgardens and a
pool with hydro massage.
Activities:
Walking: perfect to go walking; horseriding & organized horseriding trips; golf court on
20 minutes distance (Real Club de Golf with Tee time); parapenting; musea (etnografical
museum "Cho Limones"); visiting the agrarian market on saturdays and sundays.
