PADI stands for Professional Association of Diving Instructors and is worlds biggest organisation on the spertise of diving courses. PADI frames the quality norms, on which the diving courses have to meet and also trains and examine instructors. A PADI certificate is the most respected and accepted certificate worldwide.
This is depending on the amount of time you have to follow a course and the end level you desire. If you want to be able to go diving independent with a "buddy" afterwards, then a PADI Open Water certifcate is necesary. This course has a duration of 4 till 5 days.
If you chose for the PADI Scuba Diver Course (2 till 3 days) you will get a certificate, which you can use for hopping into the Open Water Course next time. This certificate is like an in-between stage, with whom you can only dive under professional companion.
In this case most of the diving schools want to know how long ago it was. Most times, when it is longer than a year, they will ask you to dive shortly into the pool, to see how your competences are. If they are not good enough, they will give you an extra short course, to fresh up skills (charged extra). Not mentioning the lack of expertise at reservation, could bring you in a dangerous situation during diving and could delay your dive, so please tell us if so.
We have a package of trips with all ingredients for a single friendly environment. Small scaled and personal accommodations, no isolated places (except for some rural accommodations) but on the same time away from the mass. A good price versus quality, without asking extra charges for singles. Nice environments with the opportunity to meet other people there.
It is important to bring comfortable clothes.Long pants are recommendable because of the bushes and plants, short pants for the accessable roads (a combination pants might be a good option), a wind jacket or rain coat (it can be chilly higher in the mountains), good walking shoes, eventually a walking stick (sometimes these are for rent at location). And, not to forget, a good suncream with a high factor, sunglasses or cap, because high in the mountains the sun can be very sharp!
It depends partly on the time of year you are going to sail and where. But in general it is good to bring casual clothes, comfortable closed shoes (with white soles and good profile). At can be a bit colder during the night on the water so bring something warm as well, such as a sweater or wind jacket. Good sunglasses, suncream with a high factor are a must on the water.
A guarantee fund, like SGR, has next to all advantages for small agents also a considerable disadvantage. SGR is asking for extensive bank guarantees or an distinguished deposit in the SGR fund, ahich is very understandable. But, nevertheless is very hard or not possible to realize in the being of a small agent. In case you have questions about this subject, please contact us.
Normally costs like harbour fees, fuel for dinghy and yacht and shopping for meals (normally only breakfast and lunch), for during the sailing trip. In the evening dinner will be organised in one of the restaurants in the specific harbour and that is most of the time not included. On the site the ins and outs are mentioned per trip.
