Base Puerto de Mogan (or Puerto Rico) A picturesque and charming fishermen's village with a venetian look in the southwest of the island. A cosy harbour with small bridges, palm trees and flowers, twisting around the typical casas (houses). A dream to relax and overthink the beautiful dive you made on the several terraces at the harbour or beach. Here you can rent one of our apartments as well. Our PADI Diving School is situated in the direct surroundings of the beach of Taurito and under the leadership of
an englishman, Jerry O'Connor. Instructors of different nationalities are waiting for you. They have a strong
personal touch in this school. Very well for beginners and also experienced divers. The wreck of the Blue Bird
in front of the harbour of Puerto de Mogan is an absolut "must"!

Our PADI center This well cared for, cosy center provides you the right ingredients for your holiday! They have 2 swimmingpools at their disposal to be used for the first dives, but soon you will enter the ocean and dive at the house reef (till 8 meters), perfect for starters and more to see than in a pool! For the experienced divers: caves, tunnels, lavarocks, plateau with drop-off, night diving,... Facilities center: shower, wet room, dive shop, equipment room, cosy classroom, free internet access to read and send emails to your relatives and friends at home. Our PADI Center Is situated in La Restinga (at boulevard - harbour), the mekka of diving schools! It is the first diving center, that was opened on EL Hierro. It is small scaled and under the leadership of a real canario (citizen Canary Islands). They speak spanish and english. Good for beginners and for sure perfect for experienced divers!
